Giraldo E. Cepeda, MD, FAAP
Dr. Cepeda did his medical training at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, after which he worked seeing children in the Emergency Room for 7 years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
He has proudly been serving the pediatric population of St. Lucie County and surrounding areas since 1993. He has served as the Pediatric Department Chairman for Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute for the majority of that time, a position of which he still holds. Dr. Cepeda is a Clinical Associate Professor for the FSU Medical School Fort Pierce Campus.
Dr. Cepeda prides himself in delivering personalized care to each and every child. His motto is, “I would not do something for your child that I wouldn’t do for my own”.
Dr. Cepeda has been married for over 38 years and has 3 adult children. In 2021, Dr. Cepeda was blessed with the most precious gift...he became a grandfather. His son and daughter-in-law had their first child, a baby boy.
